Ministerial committee follows up on Gulf of Suez project

Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat El-Sharif said that the ministerial committee for following up on major projects met yesterday to examine the Gulf of Suez project.

The committee, meeting under Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri, looked at work on Ein Sukhna port, where work on a navigational canal is underway. 100 meters have been dug and dredged, while 370 meters remain.

Ganzouri highlighted the importance of infrastructure and utility networks in the nine industrial areas, Sharif said, adding that the infrastructure resources are available and are being developed to keep up with development projects.
