Commercial company between Egypt, three European states to encourage exports
A joint commercial company among Egypt, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg will start its activity during next month, aiming at marketing Egyptian exports in the participating European countries.
The company's capital is $30 million.
Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili said today that this company comes as an implementation of the commercial agreement that was reached on the margins of Belgium's Crown Prince Philip's visit to Egypt during February, as an understanding note was signed to establish a joint Belgium - Egyptian company.
The company will market furniture, leather and plastic products as well as rice, fruits, vegetables and various agricultural products.
