Arab, American protests over Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, exposition

The American committee for Jerusalem and the society of the " the American Muslims for Jerusalem's sake" have formed a coalition including some 14 US and Islamic organizations to protest on the special exposition to be organized by Disney company in Florida under the title Jerusalem: Israel' s capital.

The Israeli government has spent US $ 2.8 million on this exposition which will be open on September 30. The new Arab-Islamic coalition sent several messages to Disney company in which it protested against the exposition and its political dimensions, but Disney has not so far replied the messages and limited its response to releasing a statement in which it claimed that the exposition is not political.

Meantime, the chairman of the " US committee for Jerusalem" Ziad Asali said that the coalition hopes to settle this matter by maintaining understanding with Disney so as to hold the exposition with cultural dimensions without any political dimensions " accepting the illegal occupation of Arab Jerusalem and dealing with this occupation as a de facto."
