Moroccan premier receives UN secretary general's special representative for the Sahara

Moroccan Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi met in Rabat on Thursday with William Eagleton, special representative of UN Secretary General Kofi Annan for the Sahara.

In his latest report, Annan called Morocco and the Polisario to cooperate with the MINURSO (a French acronym for the UN mission supervising the holding of a referendum in the Sahara), so that the identification operation of persons entitled to vote in the referendum that the United Nations plans to hold by July 2000 and the appeals procedure take place in due time.
