A call for Algeria to approve civil reconciliation law
Algerian Minister of Interior Abdelmalek Sellal directed a call to all Algerian citizens regardless of their convictions to support the "civil reconciliation" law, in the scheduled September 16 referendum, considering it to be the only way for Algeria to get out of the crisis affecting it, resume the process of economic development and take its position among the developed nations.
He described the civil reconciliation law as coming out of the principal "we do not forget but forgive," a slogan adopted by the families of terrorism victims, confirming that the country will take care of them.
Meanwhile, the Algerian minister of interior considered the return of violence and the operations committed by terrorist groups as evidence of these groups' fear of peace and unity, calling it a desperate attempt to express their opposition to reconciliation.
