Madeleine Albright to visit Cairo at the beginning of September

US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will arrive in Cairo on September 2 on a tour that includes Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian National Authority.

An Egyptian official source said President Mubarak will meet with Albright in Alexandria, and that Foreign Minister Amr Moussa will also meet with her.

The sources said, "Mubarak will discuss with Albright means of pushing the peace process in the Middle East forward and means of achieving progress on the Palestinian - Israeli track."
