Italian investment projects in El-Wahat El-Bahria

Maher El-Gindy, the governor of Giza, stated that there is a great potential for investment in the maritime oasis (El-Wahat El-Bahria).

During his visit yesterday to El-Wahat El-Bahria, the Giza governor added that an Italian company Arojet has presented offers to establish several projects for manufacturing agricultural products in El-Wahat El-Bahria for export to Europe and the USA.

These projects include the establishment of a factory for dates and their derivatives, a factory for drying fruits such as apricot and figs, and a factory for packing different vegetables.

El-Gindy said a committee was formed for quick study of this offer, due to finish its work within a week.

He added that there is the potential to establish several projects for agricultural packing at El-Wahat El-Bahria, especially for dates, as the production of the oasis has amounted to 26,000 tonnes annually.
