A conference for the Arab businessmen in Tunis

Tunisia is hosting the eighth conference for businessmen and Arab investors from November 23 - 25, under the auspices of Tunisian President Zein El-Abedin Ben Ali.

Egyptian businessman Said El-Taweel, the deputy chairman of the Arab Businessmen's Union, told ArabicNews.com that the conference will discuss the effects of applying the GATT agreement on Arab businessmen and methods of developing Arab laws to confront its effects.

He added that the meeting will discuss activating the Arab commercial agreement and the Arab - European agreements as well as establishing a businessmen's union in the Mediterranean Sea area.
