Moroccan cooperation secretary of state meets Canadian minister

Moroccan Secretary of State in charge of cooperation, Ms. Aicha Belarbi, met Monday in Rabat Canadian minister in charge of Government affairs, Ms. Louise Beaudouin who was among the Canadian delegation that attended the funeral of the late King Hassan II. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations, cooperation prospects in various sectors and Morocco's efforts to promote literacy, improve women's situation and provide jobs to diploma holders.

Preparations for the Francophony summit due in Canada shortly as well as the evolution of scholarships extended by Canada to Moroccan students were also tackled during the talks.
