Moroccan royal palace denies rumors of secret marriage for new king

The royal palace in Rabat stressed on Monday that the new Moroccan King Muhammad VI is still single and that he did not get married secretly, and thereby denies the widespread rumors in this respect.

A source at the Moroccan royal palace asserted that these rumors stem from the assumption that the Moroccan king can not be invested to the throne unless he is married.
