Morocco hosts congress of International Federation of Amateur Theater

The International Federation of Amateur Theater opened Friday its 24th congress in Morocco's Atlantic coastal city of El-Jadida to discuss a number of issues germane to ways to promoting amateur drama and enhancing partnership between world playwrights. The speakers said that the congress, which is attended by amateur dramatists from 45 countries, will be an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and promotion of dramatic arts.

On the fringes of the event, a number of plays from Europe, Arab world, Latin America and Africa will be performed.
