African loan for Tunis worth $70 million

The African Development Bank agreed to grant Tunisia a loan of $70 million to support the agricultural private sector in Tunisia.

This loan will be administered by the governmental Tunisian Agricultural National Bank.

A press statement issued by the African bank said the bank previously supported 65 projects in different fields and that the focus in the coming years will be on basic infrastructure sectors, agricultural and industrial production in addition to support in improving the capability of local products to compete in external markets.
