Kurdish suicide attacks because of Ocalan's death sentence
18 persons were injured during a suicide attack that was carried out by a Kurdish girl yesterday evening before a police center in one of Turkey's southern cities.
Turkish sources said that more than 20 of suicidal people entered Turkey through the boarders with Iran and Iraq.
The suicide attack came hours after an explosion took place in a public garden in Istanbul due to which one person was killed and another 25 were injured.
The suicide operation, which targeted a police center in southern Turkey, resulted in injuring 18 persons, among whom were the head of the center, ten policemen and the Turkish girl.
Turkish intelligence said that it came in the Kudistan Workers Party's threats to strongly retaliate for the death sentence of Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.
