Production of first Egyptian Fiat to start

The Fiat Uno Egypt Company will start its first production of Fait cars manufactured in the factories of Nissan Egypt in 6th of the October City.

Abdul Monem Saudi, the head of the Egyptian Industrial Union, said the new production will be carried out under the supervision of the Italian company Fiat, which chose Egypt to be an industrial base for the company's products and for exports to Egypt's neighboring countries, whether in the Arab Gulf or in the African markets.

Saudi said the new product aims at increasing the local components of the manufactured cars in Egypt and the new company will start producing 5,000 cars in the first year to fulfill the needs of the Egyptian market.
