Head of the bureau of the Iranians' interests care: urges on removing between Cairo and Tehran

Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Nagi El-Fetrifi convened with Akbar Ali Kasemy, head of the Iranian interest bureau in Cairo.

The Iranian official said after the meeting that the talks tackled means of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries as well as discussing the development of the situation in the Middle East.

Answering a question about his evaluation of Iranian - Egyptian relations at the current time, Kasemy said that Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa and Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi referred to the progress in Iranian - Egyptian relations, referring to the importance of working on removing sources of tensions in bilateral relations between the two countries.
