US young political leaders hail morocco's democratic progress

A delegation of the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) hailed on Tuesday Morocco's progress in matters of democracy and human rights, MAP reported.

"Our visit to Morocco helped us have a clear idea on the true image of Morocco, a country that enjoys a stability unmatched in the region," a member of the US delegation told MAP before leaving Morocco.

The ACYPL members said they would publicize Morocco's image in the US to contribute to enhancing relations between the two countries.

The US delegation arrived in Morocco last week at the invitation of the Moroccan house of representatives (lower house of parliament). During their stay, they held talks with cabinet members, MPs and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
