Cabinet reshuffle in Saudi Arabia
Diplomats and analysts expected on Monday that Saudi Arabia will make this week a ministerial reshuffle which will be only the second within 25 years, but the sources ruled out changes in the main ministries.
A well-informed source said it expected that the ministers of foreign affairs, defense and the interior to keep their posts, as they have been already occupied by senior princes from the Saudi royal family. The sources also did not expect any amendment in the ministries of oil and finance.
The sources added that the newly-appointed ministers are expected to be supporters of the policy of Crown Prince Abdullah, which seeks to achieve economic reforms.
