Aden court begins final arguments in British terrorist issue
Yemeni judicial sources said that the preliminary court of El-Tawahi in Aden will resume the coming of its sessions on 22 of current June, in the issue of the terrorist plan, in which five British and French suspects are indicted on charges of planning a series of violent actions, bombing vital buildings and assassinating officials.
The sources said that the court, chaired by Judge Jamal Mohammed, began to hear final arguments after hearing the confession of the accused, some of whom have denied the charges against them, saying that the prosecution's investigations were done after torture.
The judicial sources expected that the court will issue its final judgment in the case at the end of July, where the accused will be sentenced to long periods of imprisonment for forming armed guerilla groups, supported by Mustafa Kamal (Abu Hamza al-Masri), whose son is currently on trial among the group's members.
Yemeni security bodies arrested the guerillas at the end of last year in Aden for implementing violent actions against tourists.
