Originally published

The International Islamic Federation has concluded its conference in Geneva in the presence of 60 representatives from 20 countries, as stated in its final statement, which stressed adherence to "Holy Jerusalem's Arab and Islamic civilized identity," rejection of the policy of settlement and Judaizing in Palestine, and full backing for the struggle mounted by the Lebanese people to liberate their lands from the Israeli occupation.

It also called on the Arab and Islamic states to "end the siege imposed on Iraq." The conference also adopted recommendations relating to its regular activities.
