Tunisia signs UN memorandum on peacekeeping operations

Tunisia yesterday signed the United Nations memorandum of understanding on the standby arrangements for the United Nations peacekeeping operations. The United Nations said that 85 countries have expressed a willingness to participate in "standby arrangements designed to accelerate the deployment of peacekeeping operations."
