Sudanese - Eriterian committee to meet on Sunday

The Sudanese - Eritrean joint committee is to begin meeting on Sunday in Doha, Qatar, aiming at agreeing upon measures concerning carrying out the Doha agreement that the Sudanese and Eritrean presidents signed in May.

Ali Abdul Rahman El-Numeri, minister of state at the Sudanese Foreign Ministry, stated that Sudan gives great importance to security issues, specifically as Eritrea has hostile stances, represented in attacks lunched by Eritrean forces on Sudanese territories and sheltering the Sudanese opposition.

El-Nomeri stated that the coming stage depends on the commitment of each side to the agreement's articles.
