The London-based al-Hayat daily on Tuesday received a statement from the National Council for Freedoms in Tunisia, which said that its official, Omar al-Meisteri, will be presented before the investigation judge on July 3 under charges of being a member of an unrecognized society and publication of forged news.

The statement added that these accusations are the same facing the spokesman for the Freedom Council, Munsif al-Marzouki, who will be also presented before the court on July 5.

Al-Marzouki was detained on Saturday in the front of al-Meisteri house and was on Monday presented before the investigation judge who submitted his case to the course and prevented him from leaving the Tunisian territories.
