Egypt's improved economy to be rewarded with high interest loans

Originally published

Khaled Ikram, a representative of the World Bank, said that Egypt has been transfered to the list of middle-income countries, due to an improvement of the income level for nearly three years.

He referred to the increase of income in Egypt to more than the specified limit for poor countries which is $1,100 annually per capita, and that the income reached nearly $1,300.

He stated, "This means Egypt will obtain loans of a higher interest that reaches nearly 6% instead easy loans whose interest is less than 1%."
