Islamic development bank delegation visits Pakistan
A three-member delegation of the Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will start on Thursday a visit to Pakistan, Pakistani news agency APP reported.
APP said the delegation will appraise, assess and review its on-going projects in the education, power and the rural sectors.
The IDB delegation will visit five major projects, including the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), the International Islamic University, Bahawalpur Rural Development Project, Hyderabad Left Bank Outfall and Rawalpindi Medical College.
APP said despite economic sanctions imposed on Pakistan for its nuclear explosions, the IDB continued to inject investment in their projects.
