President Mubarak receives message from president of Georgia

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received yesterday a written message from Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze during his reception of the foreign minister of Georgia, who arrived yesterday at Cairo on a visit that is to end tomorrow.

The foreign minister of Georgia, Irakli Menagharishvili, hailed the relations linking Egypt to Georgia and described them as historical, adding that his visit will work on supporting cooperation between the two countries, especially in economic, political and commercial fields.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa met with the foreign minister of Georgia, who said after the meeting that he discussed lots of regional and international issues of joint concern in addition to bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
