Swiss couple spends honeymoon in Palmyra

The newly wed-couple from Switzerland Bald Ov Bayous and Mrs Christ Poland have preferred to spend their honey money among the monuments of the charming monuments of the Syrian city of Palmyra and its unmatched relics of ancient civilizations, SANA reported.

In a statement to SANA, the couple said that their choice of Palmyra to spend their honeymoon came after they had read in books about this city where human civilizations emerged where life has been continuous since before the Christ until our present day.

They explained that they agreed to start their married life in this "miracle city." They also expressed happiness to be in such a unique place, stressing they will recommend their acquaintances to visit Syria, "which brings together the charm of the desert and the amazing natural scenes."
