Bahrain, Belarus relations debated

Ruler of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa on Monday in Manama received Belarus's deputy premier and foreign minister, Ural Latypov, and members of the accompanying delegation.

The Gulf News Agency said that during the meeting, the visiting minister handed over the emir of Bahrain a message from Belarus' president stressing fostering and consolidation of bilateral relations between the two countries and means of consolidating them in various fields.

Developments in the regional and international arenas and issues of mutual concern were reviewed during the meeting.

Earlier in the day, Bahrain's defense minister and the deputy commander in chief of the defense forces, Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Ahmad al-Khaleifa, met with the Belarusian minister and his companions. Bilateral relations and ways of giving them a push forward and military cooperation areas were reviewed.
