Army besieges some 20 armed group members in Algeria

The Algerian daily al-Youm said on Monday that the army's forces are besieging some 20 armed group members in the heights of Khamis al-Khishnah and the Muftah area of Bouira district, 120 km from the capital, Algiers.

The Algerian security forces, meanwhile, killed some 17 members of the armed groups, who used to be working under the leadership of "Mubarak al-Yazid" in Skikda province, 510 km from the capital.

For its part, the Algerian daily al-Khabar said that one citizen was killed following a bomb explosion in Buvarik.
