Saudi students open fire on his colleagues

The Saudi daily al-Riyadh published on Thursday said that a preparatory school student had asked the permission of his teacher to leave the classroom in one of the Kingdom's schools and then he got a pistol he had already hidden in the courtyard of the school and opened fire on his classmates, but no casualties were reported.

The Saudi paper added that the students were surprised by one bullet which penetrated the teachers' room and they immediately hid themselves under desks and tables.

The paper said the student rushed into the streets where he was arrested. It added that a disagreement between the student and his friends may be behind the incident. No more details were given on this incident.
