Twin horses born in Cairo

Cairo witnessed the day before yesterday a unique event, the labor of twin horses that are fully developed males, enjoying good health.

The mother, Laura, is 19 years old, while the father is 17. A press statement for El-Zahraa station for Arabian horses (a governmental organization) said there is no organization that takes care of the Arabian horses that has registered the birth of twin horses for 100 years.

He said El-Zahraa station will register the twins in the Guiness Book of World Records as being a rare case that never happened before in the history of Arabian horses due to the small size of the mares' wombs.
