Solving problem of visas between Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia

Originally published

Tunisia, Egypt and Libya have overcome the problems that prevailed during the recent days concerning Tripoli's call for Egyptians and Tunisians who seek to enter Libya to hold entrance visas.

Egyptian sources said there were contacts between Egypt and Libya, as well as a phone call between Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi and Tunisian President Zein al-Abedin bin Ali to end the question in Tunisia concerning the decision to impose visas on Egyptians and Tunisians.

Meanwhile, Libya's deputy at the Arab League, ambassador Salama Rached, denied today that the Libyan border authorities have ever demanded a visa from Egyptian passengers, stating that the visas have been canceled for 12 years.
