Former athletics star plans to organize in morocco meeting of IAAF Grand Prix

Former Moroccan field and track star, Said Aouita, is planning to organize an international athletics meeting in Casablanca that will be listed on IAAF Grand Prix.

Some 150 world athletics stars will participate in the Casablanca meeting's outset next July 13.

"The athletes will not come to Casablanca as tourists. They will come here in quest for performance and even world records," said Aouita at a press conference.

Said Aouita is a legend champ who dominated all mid-distances from 800 m to 10,000 m with four world records.

The meeting will be aired by several world leading TV channels via "EUROSPORT," Aouita said.

The meeting will be sponsored by the "Aouita Sport Club Casablanca."
