Ehud Barak in Jordan on Sunday

Jordanian official sources expected that Jordan's King Abdullah is to meet with leader of the Israeli Labor Party and candidate for Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak on Sunday.

The sources stated that they are currently preparing for Barak's visit, which they did not announce yet.

The Jordanian monarch met last Sunday in Amman with the leader of the Israeli center party and nominee for Israeli prime minister, Yitzhak Mordechai, without a formal announcement of this meeting.

The Israeli government has expressed its annoyance towards King Abdullah's meeting, considering it intervention in the Israeli elections which are an internal affair.
