Palestinian refugee host countries meet in Amman
Representatives of the Palestinian refugees' host countries, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Egypt, held a meeting on Tuesday in Amman to coordinate stances toward the unofficial meeting which will be held today in Amman for the Palestinian refugees' donor and host countries.
Chairman of the Palestinian Affairs department at the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, Ibrahim Badran, said in a statement on Tuesday that stances advocated by the hosting countries were identical on the need that UNRWA will continue its activities and will not minimize the services rendered to the Palestinian refugees until their case is settled according to international legitimacy resolutions.
The representatives of the host countries stressed that continued services to the Palestinian refugees will be eventually conductive to the stability in the region and, in addition, helps the peace process to take the right track.
