Palestine hails Egypt's position concerning state's declaration

The head of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Ahmed Qrei hailed the Egyptian position supporting the Palestinian lasting stand.

Qrei said that the Palestinians view Egypt's position as a central and important position in all their moves at the international and Arab levels, because Egypt has influence in the international, Arab and Palestinian arenas.

Qrei, moreover, said that Arafat's tour has been successful in making all countries of the world understand the dangers threatening the peace process and the seriousness of the transitional stage to end on May 4, according to the agreements signed and ratified which all countries of the world have witnessed.

He also added that the declaration of the Palestinian state has not been postponed yet, but it will be discussed from every point of view, and, "We will take the decision according to the advice of the Europeans, Arabs and others."
