London holds International conference on investment in Egypt

An international conference will be held in London on April 26, about the situation of financial markets in Egypt, where Minister of Economy Youssef Butros Ghali said a number of Egyptian executive leaders and representatives of non-governmental labor organizations will attend.

The two-day conference will review the prospects for the Egyptian economy in the coming century and the benefits of investment in Egypt.

A press statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Economy said that Abd El-Hamd Ibrahim, the head of finance market's department, Sameh Torgeman, the head of Egyptian stock market, and number of businessmen, bank representatives and managers of investment funds will attend.

The event will provide information concerning the situation of the economy and opportunities for investment in new projects such as Toshka, Suez Gulf and East Port Said.
