Further Israeli attacks against south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday continued their attacks on areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said on Wednesday that the Israeli occupation artillery bombarded the western area in the town of Majdal Zoun and the outskirts of al-Mansouri town and Jib Sweid in the western strip of south Lebanon, using heavy shelling.

The attacks resulted in material damages.

Furthermore, the Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday bombarded, using heavy artillery, the woods of Yater and al-Butoum mountains in the western sector of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli bombardment resulted in damaging the plantlife.

For its part, the Lebanese resistance retaliated for the Israeli aggression. Resistance forces attacked the occupation positions in Dahr al-Jamal in the occupied part of south Lebanon, using mortars and rockets.

On Tuesday night, the Lebanese resistance attacked the occupation position in Beer Klab and Sujoud, using machine guns and rockets. Direct hits were scored.
