Bahrain praises European Union for backing a Palestinian state

Bahrain on Sunday praised the decision adopted by the European Parliament in backing the right of the Palestinian people to establish their own independent state.

The Gulf News Agency said this was expressed during the weekly meeting of the Bahraini Cabinet.

The Cabinet also expressed concern over the violations the people of Kosovo undergo in being vulnerable to ethnic cleansing acts and forced expulsion. It decided to send urgent humanitarian aid to those refugees.

The Bahraini Cabinet also reviewed various Arab and international issues and means of developing areas of cooperation with the Arab states.
