Morocco and Thailand to sign agreement on merchant navy

Morocco and Thailand will sign next week a cooperation agreement on merchant navy that was initialed in November 1997 in Rabat. The agreement will be signed by Moroccan Minister of Transport and Merchant Navy Mustapha Mansuri, who started on Friday a work visit to Thailand, leading a large delegation.

The Moroccan minister's visit to Thailand is part of Morocco's strategy to conquer markets in south-east Asia and to identify cooperation prospects between the two countries in transports.
