Husseini warns Israel against closing Beit El-Shark
Faisel al-Husseini, the official charged with the issue of Jerusalem in the Palestinian Authority, asserted that Israel cannot close Beit El-Shark (Orient House) in Jerusalem unless it wants to end the peace process completely.
Al-Husseini denounced yesterday the Israeli government's use of Jerusalem in the elections, saying that this will destroy relations between the two sides and increase the difficulty of the peace process.
Al-Husseini described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a rabble rouser who is looking for a cheap provocations to aid his victory in the elections in May, and he called on Netanyahu to stop the unilateral Israeli procedures and enter into final status talks with the Palestinians.
He added that stopping the Palestinian activity in Jerusalem is impossible because the city is full of Palestinian people.
