Morocco's lab signs cooperation accord with Quebec

Morocco's Public Lab of Tests and Studies signed Friday here a cooperation accord with Quebec's Environment Protection department.

The accord provides for the exchange of experiences and coordination of research studies in environment protection, management and air-water quality control.

Under the accord, the Quebec ministry pledges to train Moroccans on latest control techniques

The conclusion of the accord coincides with the visit the Mayor of Montreal is paying to Morocco. His talks with Moroccan officials focused on partnership between Morocco and Canada in environment protection, sanitation, local management, urban transport, town planning and solid waste processing.
