Senegalese communication minister winds up visit to Morocco
Senegalese minister of communication, Aissata Tall Sall, wound up on Thursday a four-day working visit to Morocco, that she described as "very fruitful." Sall told reporters upon departure that she had "fruitful and concrete" talks with her Moroccan peer, Larbi Messari, on means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in matters of cinema, print and audio-visual press.
She recalled that a cooperation accord was concluded last February between the Moroccan and Senegalese news agencies "MAP" and "APS," that the Moroccan daily "Le Matin du Sahara et du Maghreb" and the Senegalese daily "Le Soleil" are bound by a protocol of agreement and that a cooperation agreement between the two countries' radio and television channels "RTM" and "RTS" is being negotiated.
During the visit, Sall handed to Moroccan Premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi a message from President Abdou Diouf to King Hassan II.
Besides her talks with Messari, she also conferred with MAP director general Abdeljalil Fenjiro, as well as with senior executives of the Moroccan cinematographic center and Moroccan Radio and TV (RTM).
