Originally published

The Moroccan-Egyptian infrastructure commission held Monday in Cairo its first meeting to identify the priority projects to be carried out by the two countries in matters of basic equipment and related sectors.

The commission called for the consolidation of partnership and exchange of experiences and data in road and dam construction, irrigation techniques, hydraulic resources management and greening.

Participants also discussed the possibility of setting up joint-ventures in infrastructure and called for enhancing contacts between the two countries' engineers in various technical sectors.

The commission is part of several ad-hoc sectoral bodies stemming from the Moroccan-Egyptian high cooperation commission.
