Israeli warplanes on Monday raided the Mleita area in south Lebanon's al-Tuffah district. News reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli warplanes fired missiles at the targeted area.

On Sunday night, Israeli warplanes also raided Sujoud mountain.

Meanwhile, the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army militia carried out mopping-up operations from its positions in Zamraya, Jabal al-Daher and Meimas crossing, using heavy artillery.

On Monday at 9 a.m. the Zamraya two-way crossing was opened after being closed last week. The citizens of Habaya, Ein Qenya and Eble al- Saqqi had been prohibited from leaving the area for the fifth day running.

Israeli occupation forces at dawn on Monday detonated three explosive charges connected to each other and planted to the east of Majdal Salim town, adjacent to the occupied border strip of south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources reported that the house of Lebanese citizen Hussein al-Maaz was damaged as a result of the explosion.
