Arab Israeli political movements merging

The Israeli radio said that the national unity front led by Hashem al-Mahamid on Sunday night decided to join the plenary Arab list which includes the Islamic Movement and the Arab Democratic Party, chaired by Abdul Wahab al-Daraweshah, against having seats numbers three and seven in the plenary list.

Al-Mahamid split from the alliance he established two weeks earlier with member of the Israeli Knesset Azmi Bishara.
