Israel evacuates Egyptian tribe to Sinai
The Israeli authorities started on Monday to evacuate and displace some 1,000 Egyptians of al-Negev Bedouins who crossed the border from Sinai to the Negev one week earlier and returned them to their area in Sinai.
Israel Radio said on Monday that this operation is taking place after the Israeli High Court of Justice refused on Sunday a request to permit members of the Azazma tribe to stay in Israel, following a tribal conflict.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian authorities announced that a camp was established near the border, guarded by Egyptian troops, to receive those Egyptian Bedouins.
