King Abdullah issues royal pardon

King Abdullah of Jordan on Saturday gave instructions to the government to issue a general pardon on the fall of al-Adha Eid which will start on Saturday. A high-ranking Jordanian official told the AFP that the pardon will cover some 600 prisoners, excluding those who are convicted of committing the crimes of spying, drug trafficking and deliberate killing.
