Morocco's spiritual capital hosts first Arab Poetry Congress

"Arab poetry between the past and the present, what specificity?" is the theme of the first Arab Poetry Congress to be held in Fes on April 27-30.

Debates will highlight the evolution in Arab poetry as regards the genre and the form and evaluate Arab contemporary poetry expression.

Some 80 poets and critics from 14 Arab states and Europe, are expected at the event, sponsored by the socio-cultural association "Fes-Saiss."
