Originally published

The Israeli warplanes on Friday carried out two raids in the Abu Rashed district in the Western Bekaa and Aqmata farm in al-Tuffah district in South Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the enemy planes fired missiles on the two targeted areas but were intercepted by Lebanese army and national resistance anti-aircraft missiles.

Also on Friday, the Israeli occupation forces bombarded, using heavy artillery, Burket al-Jabbour, Abu Rashed mountains, al-Qantari woods and al-Sarira hills in the Western Bekaa. Lebanese security sources said Israeli warplanes carried out mock and provocative raids over the areas converged by the Israeli bombardment.

Furthermore, the Israeli occupation forces and the pro-Israeli Lahd militias prevented citizens of the occupied town of Hasbaya from leaving the occupied border district through gates leading to the liberated areas. No reasons were given for taking such measures. Four days earlier, Israeli occupation forces arrested an inspector of the Lebanese security forces, Hassan Elias Gharib, from Rashya town. Gharib, who works at the general directorate for the general security in Beirut was arrested while visiting his relatives in his home town of Rashya.
