Abdul Meguid condemns US - British attacks on Iraq

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid condemned the British and US shelling of Iraqi, calling for an immediate halt to all military action that further complicates the situation or threatens security and stability in the area. Abdul Meguid supported relying on diplomatic methods of solving problems and resuming cooperation between Iraq and the UN through respecting Iraq's territorial integrity and not interfering in its internal affairs.
